Highlights of our past Meeting
At our May 29 meeting, member Mel Nicholson delivered an engaging presentation about her life, work, and involvement in the Mandala Project.
We were also pleased to welcome and induct two new members, Sandi Fulcher and Lisbeth Long. President Kevin led the induction, acknowledging the valuable strengths each brings to our club, qualities clearly reflected during the ceremony.
Rice for Cambodia.
Rice For Cambodia recently received a Certificate of Appreciation from Peak Sneng Health Centre for funding their latest building upgrades, a testament to the power of community generosity.
Since 2015, with the support of our sponsors and the dedication of Rotary member Lawrie, we’ve helped transform the centre: adding a kitchen, training room, vaccination room, improved birthing and ante-natal spaces, toilets and showers, and now a roof linking all buildings, creating shelter and a welcoming space for families.
Thanks to your kindness, 10,000 villagers now benefit from safer, more dignified care.
Rotary acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of the land and acknowledges and pays respect to their elders, past and present.
We are committed to safe and inclusive clubs, policies and services for people of LGBTIQ+ communities and their families.
