2026.01.15 Cambodia Support for Displaced Families
The Cambodia Clean Water & Toilet Project (CCWTP) team thanks the Rotary e-Club of Change Makers for its generous support to help us help the families displaced by the Thai Cambodia border conflict.
We continue to hope that the current ceasefire will hold.
Some people are leaving the refugee camps for home. There are still 76 families at Khchay Pagoda camp. There were was 320 families, but it is anticipated that some will return. There will be heartache for some of these families as the Thai Army has advanced up to 500 metres and laid barbwire barricades on roads into border villages. This is not being reported on the international news.
Over the past two months CCWTP has continued to supply rice and other protein food along with hygiene essentials including baby nappies.
