Run down of our meeting 26th July 2025
- A panel of club members shared updates on their work preparing for the upcoming Domestic and Family Violence Forum in Wodonga. This important event will bring awareness and community engagement to a critical issue.
- Mel will lead a new initiative focused on increasing youth voice and relevance within our club, helping to ensure Rotary remains vibrant and forward-looking.
- Proceeds from Lucky Numbers this month will go toward funding a ShelterBox to support those affected by the crisis in Myanmar.
- Funds raised from the raffle at our Changeover Lunch will be donated to support Darrell Steer’s impactful work in Cambodia.

Club Achievement Recognition
Our club met 16 out of 17 international goals and has been awarded the prestigious District 9790 Gold Medal. Congratulations to all members on this outstanding achievement!

Rotary Change Over Lunch
At our recent Changeover Lunch in Wangaratta Victoria, we celebrated a wonderful year of service and welcomed in new leadership. President Kevin Carey officially passed the baton to incoming President Susan Benedyka, who will guide our club for the next 12 months under the inspiring new theme "Unite for Good."




Rotary Youth Leadership Program (RYLA) is Going Global
Two of our club members are playing key roles in the international online RYLA program, hosted by the e-Club of Southern Scotland and running this August. New member Juliet Beckwith is one of the program’s coordinators and has been involved since its beginning. Susan Benedyka will be facilitating a session on Effective Communication and Managing Conflicts. The program has a truly global reach, with participants from around the world.
