🚀 Meeting Highlights
Our latest meeting was another energetic evening of connection, welcoming new and prospective members from across Australia and internationally. Members shared their backgrounds, passions, and the many different ways they are contributing to Rotary projects and community impact.
President Susan Benedyka thanked everyone involved in a busy and successful week of fundraising and hands-on volunteering, including recent events in Beechworth Vic and Wangaratta Vic and the latest SHARE working bee.
💛 Fundraising & Club Success
The club celebrated strong fundraising results, with recent events raising more than $2,000 to support ongoing humanitarian initiatives.
Excitement also surrounded the announcement of a successful $10,000 grant from the Rotary Club of Balwyn for the Rice for Cambodia project, an important boost for the club’s international service work.
The meeting also reflected the club’s continued growth, with more than 30 new and prospective members joining the session, including guests from remote communities and overseas.

The updates highlighted the incredible reach of the club’s projects, supporting communities through education, healthcare, equipment repurposing, and humanitarian aid.
📅 Looking Ahead
Planning is well underway for upcoming activities including the Epic Day of Service and future working bees connected to the developing Peace Arboretum project.
Members also shared inspiring personal stories and professional experiences across areas including mental health, nursing, education, and international humanitarian work, reinforcing the diverse skills and passion that continue to drive the club forward.
