Join us for our final Zoom catch-up of the year, a relaxed little wind-down after a busy season filled with laughs, great chats, and plenty of shared moments. Everyone is welcome to pop in, unwind, and enjoy some easy conversation as we wrap up the year together!
🎟️ Travel Escape Raffle, Albury North NSW Anne and Sue shared how their club’s long-running raffle works, including updated prizes (travel or cost-of-living vouchers) aimed at appealing to younger supporters.
💻 Club Runner Overview Rtn Brendan demonstrated key Club Runner features, managing events, speakers, photos, and stories and showed how members can easily contribute content.
👋 New Member Welcome President Rtn Susan inducted Rtn
Charmaine Hall into the club. Charmaine brings financial planning experience and will be shadowing the treasurer. A warm welcome to her.
👥 Engaging Younger Members We discussed Rebecca Fry’s “Missing Millennials” presentation, focusing on how Rotary can better connect with younger generations through clear project visibility, adaptable fundraising, and flexible membership pathways.
📦 Teacher in a Box Update Rtn Jeanette shared big news: a major grant from the Roger Federer Foundation will support server rollouts in 8,000 primary schools across Zimbabwe and Lesotho.
🚑 SHARE Project Update Rtn Jenny reported on upcoming medical and educational shipments to Fiji, PNG, Cambodia, and Nepal, plus the launch of a new Eastern Africa Shipping Project Team.
🌿 Peace Arboretum, Kilmore VIC Rtn Philip provided a brief update on the Peace Pole and plans for a February opening.
👁️ End Trachoma Update Rtn Sandi highlighted ongoing challenges in trachoma-affected communities and the continued need for support.
