2025.01.11 Sri Lankan Lunch

Sri Lankan Buffet Lunch prepared by Rotary e-Club of Change Makers member and Chef Pieter Siebel Date: 2025.01.11 Time: 12.30 pm to 2.20 pm Venue: Quercus Beechworth Neighbourhood House, 26 Ford St, Beechworth VIC 3747, Australia. On Saturday 11th January 2025 we had a Sri Lankan lunch to raise funds for our project at the Dambana School in Sri Lanka. Master Chef and Rotarian Pieter Siebel provided a superb banquet featuring a vast array of Sri Lankan gourmet delights. Held in Beechworth Victoria, we had up to 75 Change Makers and their guests in attendance. A total of $6000 was raised to service the water well and pump, the toilet block and to provide much needed classroom essentials. In addition, funds will be made available to record and preserve the ancient Vedda language of the Adavassi people of Dambana.
